Western U P Snowmobile Trail Report 2/11/2026
Our outlook for the next week is that our temps will be much warmer. Starting on the 12th through the 19th, our temps will be in the high 30’s, low 40’s with nighttime temps in the 20’s. There is snow in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Groomers will not be going out during the day with the warmer temps, and we will have to wait and see if they can go out at night. Riding will be best early morning or in the evening. Please ride safely and with caution. Please stay on marked trails. Riding on unmarked trails can result in the clubs losing easement rights to those trails.
Gogebic Range Trail Authority Groomer Report:
All trails are groomed. Trails 2 & 8 were a little rough, but groomers went out to take care of them. This next week is going to get rough, so be patient. Groomers will do their best with the weather.
Gogebic Area Groomers Report:
They're calling for warmer temps this week, but really shouldn't impact grooming with temps below freezing during evening hours. Trail's covered tonight: 13n, 1n, 8w, 8e, 1s, Hoop n Holler, Timberline.
U.P. Thunder Riders Trail Report:
Groomers Gary and Dave are doing some morning magic to clean up the trails from the weekend. Trails are in excellent condition! Ride Right and Be Safe!
